Formulations first

Oriel was established in Hamburg in 2014 with a simple conviction: that skin care should be formulated with the same care as a meal, a garment or a book.

We work with botanical extracts and laboratory-made ingredients alike, selecting each for its demonstrated efficacy rather than its story. Fragrance, where present, comes from the ingredients themselves.

Packaging

Amber glass shields formulations from light. Labels are printed in a single colour and carry only what is useful: the name, the key ingredients, the volume, the directions.

Stores

Each Oriel store is designed with a local architect and responds to its street. A basin for washing hands sits at the centre of every one; you are welcome to use it without buying anything.
